In
these rules, the "Club" shall mean "Club Modeles Reduits"
GENERAL
1.1Compliance with these regulations shall be
a condition of use, by members, active or honorary and of their guests, of any
Club premises or property.For any
infringement thereof, the member concerned will be subject to such penalties as
may be imposed by the Executive Committee. MEMBERSHIP
2.1Anybody who wants to become a member must
duly fill in the application form after having chosen 2 sponsors from among
existing members and who have been members of the club for at least 2 years.
2.2No person, not being a fully paid up member of the Club shall
be permitted to operate in the Club under any circumstances, with the exception
of members of an affiliated club recognised by the Executive Committee. 2.3Only members holding current qualifications shall be authorised
to operate radio‑controlled equipment within the limits provided by these
regulations. 2.4The Executive Committee will assess the qualifications of
modelers and will also appoint approved instructors and assistant-instructors. 2.5No member shall be authorised to operate any model until he, or
she, has been released by a Club instructor and/or is qualified to operate that
type of model. 2.6No beginner should be operating any model
or equipment without the supervision ofa qualified modeler. RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1Every member should feel responsible for
the promotion of his hobby and contribute in any way possible to establish a
spirit of cooperation and encourage a friendly atmosphere among members. 3.2It should also be made a point of duty to
be courteous and not create any ill‑feelings with any club officer who will be
politely but firmly enforcing these laws. 3.3Each member is responsible for any guest
(child or adult) or family member or helper whom he invites inside the pit and
performing areas. FREQUENCIES 4.1A new member joining the club should have
the approval of the committee on the frequency he would be using.He will have to apply to the Managing
Committee for the obtention of frequencies. SAFETY MEASURES 5.1Equipment and models must be in perfect
running conditions failing which any 2 members of the committee may
interdict operating of same without former notification. 5.2Prior to operating his model, the member
will have to go through thorough checks of his equipment. 5.3Every member must operate his model in a
safe way in order to avoid causing any harm to a third party 5.4Any member who disregarding the statuated
laws or, neglecting the orders of an officer provokes another member's crash or
injury, will be entirely & materially responsible for the accident and will
have to cover the moral and material cost of the offence. 5.5A pilot should not be operating any model
while under the influence of alcohol or if he has consumed any alcoholic
beverages in the previous 12 hours. 5.6All activities shall be carried out on
areas allocated by the Club. Any operation outside Club premises are
prohibited, except with the prior authorisation of the Executive Committee.
